The Arizona Cardinals have released sky cam footage of quarterback Kyler Murray’s 43-foot rush against the Atlanta Falcons, which is absolutely beautiful.
On the play, Murray ended up running back at least 15 yards from where he originally caught the snap before evading a would-be tackler and accelerating past the defense before finally diving forward to gain another yard or two.
That game proved, perhaps more than any other, that the 2019 No. 1’s surgically repaired knee was healthy enough again to pose the same dynamic threat he posed to defenses before losing his right hand on Dec. 12 last season. cruciate ligament tore.

Now, first-year coach Jonathan Gannon is getting a taste of what his team could look like in 2024.
The Cardinals are already out of this year’s playoff race, but have stockpiled draft picks and salary cap space to prepare for what they hope is a quick turnaround.
The goals for the rest of this season are clear: keep Murray healthy and continue to build a solid young core with promising newcomers like right tackle Paris Johnson Jr. and receiver Michael Wilson.
“Superman, he’s superman,” running back James Conner said of Murray.
“He makes magic happen and converts big third downs when we need them. He did his thing.’
For the first time in a long time, the Cardinals have hope. That’s why a healthy Murray can do that too.
“I have a little goosebumps right now, it’s so cool to see,” said linebacker Dennis Gardeck. ‘I know that feeling, I know all the hard work, the loneliness that comes with that rehabilitation. Everything he’s been through and just done well as a starting quarterback.
“I have the utmost respect for him and am very happy for him.”
