Kathleen Turner made a rare public appearance Wednesday at the 36th annual Power Lunch at the Plaza Hotel in New York.
Days after paying tribute to her TV son Matthew Perry, the 69-year-old actress graced the red carpet as she arrived in a navy blue sweater and black pants.
The Romancing The Stone icon, who famously revealed she had fallen in love with co-star Michael Douglas, wrapped up in an elegant black coat as she carried her essentials in a red leather bag slung over her shoulders.
The event was organized by the charity City Meals on Wheels, for whom Kathleen is a board member.
Turner recently made headlines after paying tribute to late Friends co-star Perry, who died on October 28 from an accidental ‘drowning’ in his jacuzzi at his Los Angeles home.

The actress revealed this in a statement People that she was ‘very sad for Matthew’ and added that she had not seen him for ‘at least ten years’.
‘I liked him. He had a good sense of humor and a good heart,” Turner revealed to the outlet, adding that he “loved people.”
She added that liking people is “tremendously important to me, especially for an actor,” while also opening up about him seeing one of her Broadway shows.
“He came to one of my Broadway shows and came backstage. When he saw me he shouted, “Hey dad” and everyone thought it was pretty cool. I think it was for Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf,” she added.
“It’s extremely sad considering how young (he was) and unfortunate that he couldn’t gain more control,” she said, referring to his battle with addiction.
‘I can’t imagine that the pressure those boys lived under would be a worldwide phenomenon. It must have been overwhelming,” she said.
Turner only appeared for three episodes in 2001 as Helena Handbasket, although she revealed that she is still recognized for that role.
“I’m still constantly recognized as Chandler’s dad by a certain age group,” she revealed in the interview.
“I met someone last night and she said, ‘Aren’t you a movie star?’ I said, “Yes, but before your time,” Turner began.
‘And she said, “Well, where could I know you from?” and I said, “Chandler’s dad.” She said, ‘Oh, my God!’” Turner added.

Turner is best known for her work with Oscar winner Michael Douglas, with whom she made three films Romancing the Stone, The Jewel In The Nile and The War Of The Roses.
She previously talked about how she fell in love with the American actor, who is married to Catherine Zeta-Jones, with whom he has two children: Dylan and Carys.
Turner previously admitted that ‘the sexual attraction was all too real’, between the pair and as the cameras rolled, few, including Kathleen, didn’t believe their on-set passion would lead to an affair.
‘The chemistry was there and Michael and I were both terrible flirts. I thought Michael was divorced. We were in the jungle and I felt very romantic towards him,” she said.
‘It was going to happen. Then one day I walked onto the set and suddenly his wife was there.”
The appearance of Douglas’ wife at the time, Diandra Luker, was a warning message to Turner that she and her husband were still very much married.
‘She sat down next to him and made that very clear to me. And that was that. You don’t get involved with another woman’s husband.’
