Taylor Swift’s music producer Jack Antonoff left fans around the world in a frenzy during a car crash interview with British YouTuber Amelia Dimoldenberg at the GQ Men of the Year Awards on Wednesday.
The awkward altercation began when Antonoff, 39, was introduced to Dimoldenberg, 29, who said, “It’s nice to meet you” as he surveyed the crowd.
She said, ‘What are you looking at? Hello everyone, welcome to the interview.’
As Antonoff removed his trademark sunglasses, Dimoldenberg bizarrely asked, “Are they real, are they real glasses?”
Antonoff replied, “Of course they are real. That is extremely insulting.”

The Chicken Shop Date star – who is known for deliberately feigning an awkward interview style – said his glasses “looked a bit fake.”
Antonoff replied: ‘That’s like asking, “Are you a piece of shit?”
Antonoff then said, “How much money do you have?” – citing this as another example of a ‘terrible question’.
After a stilted conversation about which dead star Antonoff would like to collaborate, the interview ended on an icy note when Dimoldenberg said, “That’s all I have time for.” Go away. Do you want me to be rude? I do not want to see you anymore.’
The video was posted to British GQ’s TikTok account and later deleted – before a re-edited version was uploaded, minus the cringeworthy moments.
Fans quickly took to social media to call out the hilarious chat, with one writing: ‘GQ’s Amelia Dimoldenberg and Jack Antonoff interview is actually the most painful thing I’ve ever seen.’

‘Wait guys, he’s just extremely dry! He does a bit and is always messing around. I just don’t think she got his sense of humor when he thought she would bounce back and forth on his comments and make counter jokes.
In August, Antonoff and Margaret Qualley officially tied the knot at Parkers Garage in Long Beach, New Jersey, in the presence of close family and famous friends.
The Bleachers lead singer and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actress, 28, got engaged earlier last year in May after being romantically involved in August 2021.
