After months of actor and writer strikes, streaming companies are reviewing their output, with Netflix also axing Glamorous, Agent Elvis, Farzar and Captain Fall.

Leigh said, “Friends, you’ve probably heard by now that there will be no season 3 for Shadow and Bone and no spinoff of Six of Crows.

‘The news hit hard. I am heartbroken and deeply disappointed, but I am also trying to hold on to my very real gratitude.

‘Most authors never see an adaptation of their work. Many who do end up regretting the experience. I am one of the lucky few who can look at an adjustment with pride and great joy.’

The fantasy novelist thanked her “writers, crew and extraordinary cast who are not only immensely talented, but also genuinely good people.”

Although she was devastated, the author signed her post with “no mourners,” although she said, “I’m going to have a cry, and maybe a drink, and then see where the story takes us.”

Fans have been devastated by the news, with many voicing their dismay on X, formerly known as Twitter.

It takes place in tThe Grisha universe which includes the nations of Ravka, Fjerda, Shu Han, Kerch, Novyi Zem and the Wandering Isle. They all adopt languages ​​and traditions from real world countries.
