He was later seen standing at a table with pieces of ham and helping to fill large paper bags with food products.

The guards stayed close to YG while he was on his way to the food drive and also stood nearby when he took on volunteer duties.

In June 2015, the rapper was shot three times in the hip at a recording studio in Studio City, California. TMZ reported at the time.

He was taken to the hospital for treatment, and reps for the star told the outlet that the injuries he suffered were “not life-threatening.”

Police soon went to the hospital to question YG about the incident, but TMZ was told the artist was “very uncooperative.” The unknown attackers who broke into the studio were never found and remain at large.

In his 2016 album titled Still Brazy, the rapper addressed gun violence and seemingly referenced the past incident in the song called “Who Shot Me?”

Some lyrics include, “Did the homies set me up?/’Cause we haven’t really talked much/I know that sounds sick/My mind dark as f**k/Just like the barrel of the gun I saw when he sparked it up/Prolly was crazy when I walked out of the hospital.’

He also sang, “I got trust issues if I don’t fuck with a guy / My body language will tell him I don’t fuck with you / I can’t sleep at night.” unpleasant/I have nightmares of coming after the guy.”

YG previously opened up about growing up in Compton during an interview with Theo Von about him a few months earlier Podcast from last weekend.

“I grew up in several different places,” he explained, adding, “It was like shootings. It won’t continue like this.’

He added that while some areas were “chilly,” other locations in the city saw “a lot of robberies happening in one place.”

Theo then responded with, “I hate robberies,” prompting YG to say, “We did them, so it was different.”

He added, “It was all in good fun,” but continued, “That would be the crazy thing… A lot of people there grow up living a dangerous ghetto life.”

“For example, many of us like it. And then when you get out of it… you start looking back like, “D**n, I was playing with fire the whole time.”

In the crash, Sparks, 29, was behind the wheel of her 2023 Tesla when the other motorist, driving a 1985 Cadillac, made a U-turn in front of the Tesla, police told the outlet.

Sparks’ Tesla collided with the driver’s side door of the Cadillac, causing fatal injuries to the driver, who was pronounced dead at the scene, police told TMZ.

Sparks was taken to a nearby hospital after suffering minor injuries, according to authorities.

The outlet noted that it was not clear whether Sparks and YG are currently in a relationship with each other. Sparks hinted that she and YG were dating after the rap artist was spotted vacationing with Saweetie in Cabo San Lucas in May.
