- James Brayshaw married his new wife Lisa on Friday
- Famous faces from Australia attended the ceremony
- Brayshaw has four sons from a previous marriage
James Brayshaw tied the knot with his glamorous new wife Lisa Christie in Perth last weekend, and a who’s who of Australian media, cricket and footy attended the special Thursday.
AFL commentator Brayshaw was emotional as he married Christie at the Shorehouse in Swanbourne on Friday, a year after popping the question while on holiday in Italy.
Christie wore white in the Perth sunshine and former cricketer Greg Blewett presented the happy couple with their rings.
Outgoing AFL chief executive Gillon McLachlan was on hand as MC for the event. According to News Corp, he brutally roasted the footy commentator.
Famous faces from footy were at the wedding including Brad Scott, Alastair Clarkson, Sam Newman, Brian Tayor, Luke Darcy, Nathan Brown, Campbell Brown, Don Pyke, Garry Lyon and Billy Brownless.

A large number of famous faces were present at the big fair in Perth on Friday
A number of high-profile cricket figures were also in attendance, including Adam Gilchrist, Arren Lehmann, Justin Langer, Mark Taylor, Tom Moody, Dennis Lillee and Brendon Julian.
Brayshaw’s cousin Angus Brayshaw, who plays for Melbourne, was at the wedding with his fiancée Danielle Frawley.
Media titan Craig Hutchinson admitted the sheer number of famous faces on the guest list was ‘bizarre’.
“It was a great night, well done to James and Lisa,” Hutchison said on his Sounding Board podcast.
“A decent cricketing 11 was picked out of the wedding. To be fair, it was a pretty bizarre night in terms of the scale of the identities there.”
Brayshaw and Christie have been together since 2017. The football commentator and former cricketer has four sons with his ex-wife Sarah, while Christie, an interior designer, has two children from a previous relationship.
